Program and Events

Each year, the International Conference on Sport and Society draws a diverse group of participants from all over the world. Our program development team draws on this diversity to craft a rich and distinctive conference experience, including plenary speakers, paper presentations, workshops sessions, exhibits, and social events.

Proposals for Presentation

The Sport Conference is proud to accept conference proposals from delegates around the world. These proposals are reviewed carefully for scholarly merit and, if accepted, delegates are invited to attend the conference.

Conference Reception & Tour

The Sport Conference is pleased to offer delegates a selection of optional activities to help enhance the conference experience. A unique selection of tours and activities have been curated which provide excellent opportunities to further connect with colleagues and to provide one-of-a-kind experiences that highlight the conference host city through an offering of local outings and excursions. Specialty events include:

Plenary Speakers

The 2015 Sport Conference is proud to feature world-renowned scholars from all corners of the globe. Speakers include:

  • Janelle Joseph, University of Toronto, Canada
  • Victor Matsudo, Scientific Director, Center of Studies from the Physical Fitness Research Laboratory of Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil

In 2015, the Sport Conference will feature the theme, Sport in the Americas.
