Greg Baum
Greg Baum retired recently after a 45-year career in daily sports journalism, starting at the Sun News-Pictorial before spending the last 35 years with The Age. He has been a reporter, a columnist, an associate editor and was once called a curmudgeon. He has covered Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cups in several sports, scores of Test matches and too many football seasons to count. In retirement, he hopes to see sport with refreshed eyes.
