Marcelo Viana Araújo Filho

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Social History from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), where he is currently pursuing his PhD. In 2012, he attended the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) as part of the International Youth Council delegation, participating in both the People’s Summit and the Youth Blast. From 2019 to 2020, he completed the international training program Epistemologies of the South and Knowledge Born in Struggle, led by CLACSO (Argentina). Since 2020, he has been a columnist for the science communication website História da Ditadura and co-creator of the PEC podcast, in partnership with Ludopédio. In 2022, he joined the Media and Sport Studies Laboratory (LEME-UERJ). In 2024, he was awarded a CAPES scholarship for a doctoral internship at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
