David Ekdahl
David Ekdahl is Assistant Professor at Aarhus University, Department of Public Health. His research in sport science applies phenomenological and qualitative approaches to examine embodiment, bodily vulnerability, and the social dynamics of emerging sports, especially esports. His work furthermore explores issues of gender and sexism, the shifting boundaries between amateurism and professionalism, and how digital sporting practices can relate to wellbeing and happiness.
